The November 2017 Lifestylers were all open to embracing change in their lives through writing.
The June 2017 Lifestylers brought upbeat international energy from Denmark, Poland, Algeria, Namibia, Nigeria, Norwich and Notting Hill.

February 2017 Group
They came in with serious determined faces and talked about wanting to write about their passions and their desire to add meaning to the world. They bonded with me and each other, and as they processed their feelings about their writing I saw their faces blossom and change to released and excited. Whilst I set them an exercise they secretly wrote the testimonials above.
The December 16 Lifestylers declared that they were the group of Integrated Compassion. It was most rewarding helping everyone take the next step in their varied creative journeys. Not all the smiley faces are pictured as they had to dash for trains and planes.
Here’s a review of my June 16 Lifestyle writing course.
June 16 was a compact, cute group fully supportive of each other and willing to open up to their full potential as individuals.
March 2016 was a terrifically positive group keen to take all the small necessary steps for their big visions

Everyone in the November 15 Lifestyle group had questions about being at a pivotal period in their lives and wanting to add writing as part of being happy and more fulfilled.
This is me snapped by student Matvey Minaev in action during a summer school lecture. I get very excited and passionate passing on my skills to new journalists 🙂
They got on so well, they called themselves the Organic-Dynamic group. We had fun, breakthroughs and inspiration in July 2015.
The March 2015 Lifestylers were super inquisitive and poised to make big life changes

I didn’t manage to snap the entire group from the April 2014 workshop as some had trains and planes to catch. The dynamic of this group was taking the next super big step to achieving their writing dreams.
My November 2013 group was dynamic and go-getting, and each person had very different reasons for attending: working full time in journalism, writing as an expert for popular media, creating commercial online content, freelancing, embarking on creative writing, freelancing, writing creatively, and improving general writing skills.
I’m often asked if it’s too late to start writing and here is proof that it’s not: John Haddock pictured here was an officer for the British Army in WWII, and has led an incredible life all over the globe. Keen to write his story, he came to my first talk last year in Sherborne, and followed my advice to set up a writers’ group. The Scribblers are going strong and there were five in my workshop this October 2013.
