Playwright
It all started in 1996 with a half hour script about London Bohemians (Wild Rice) which had a rehearsed reading at Off the Grove, a launchpad at the time for new writing. This led to Soho Theatre offering me a first stage playwriting workshop with Paul Sirett, and that was the encouragement I needed to get going. In 2001 I was invited to attend the one year Soho Theatre Writers’ Attachment scheme, and commissioned to write another play (Somewhere).
